Pottery and Urns
Landscapes by Davids

Pottery in the garden serves many purposes. It provides portable planting, especially useful for tender plants that need to be relocated to protected areas in the winter.

It also creates planting opportunities on hardscape elements that would otherwise be bare, such as patios, steps, or walls. In addition, pots and urns can be used to soften the architecture of a setting – defining and breaking up large expansive hardscape areas.

Pottery is often used to highlight entryways, and spaced along a path or other strip it lends perspective and depth to the view.

Strategically placed, pots and urns become pleasing accents within a landscape.
